"Leaving Yasmine" is a short animated documentary about a young teenage girl who survived the Syrian genocide.  Leaving family, friends, and her hometown for an unknown country, "Yasmine" chronicles a one year mark for the girl as a new Canadian refugee.

Your support will assist with production costs ($1500 travel and labor) for the producer and artist, Rebirth Media LLC in collaboration with Tony Chao Illustration, post-production costs, and ($1000) in educational supplies, clothing, and additional tutoring for the participant. Your funds are an essential part of launching this film.

This crucial project will address the Syrian refugee crisis and be shared at no-cost to the public for social media sharing to raise awareness.
